My last holiday

I have got my last holiday when my daughter visited me in Sydney. We haven't seen each other for one year and I was very excited  before her visit.  I was waiting at the airport with flowers looking for my daughter to come out of the arrival terminal.  Of course we were both crying when we finally met. 

Every day we were visiting different part of Sydney.  We visited every interesting place from Bondi Beach to Wollongong. We have lived in Nelson Bay for last three weeks of her stay in Australia. We were using sunny weather to the maximum; going to the beach and swimming in wonderful ocean, walking in the forest and of course talking, talking and talking. 

We enjoyed time spent together!!!

Time passed very quickly. When her airplane departed Sydney I got sms from her:

"I will always love you Mum".

My Hobbies

From the first moment I arrived in Australia I couldn't resist the beauty of Australian nature. I wanted to show it to all my friends. The only way to achieve it, it was to take a lot of photos and thus I became "amateur photographer". This is my hobby until now.

My last day in Russia and first day in Australia.

I would like to write about my last day in Russia and first in Australia. That was at the end of December. 

Petersburg was under snow blanket. It was snowing the second day. All around was covered in snow, cars, trees, streets. City looked fantastic!!!

I was going to Moscow by train and was thinking about my childhood memories.

And then, plane after 24 hours flight arrived in Sydney. I changed into shorts and t-shirt during flight. I saw through the window red desert. 

I was met by my cousin at the airport. When I get out of the plane I was "hit" by hot weather.

My first memories from Australia were happy australian faces, who wish me Merry Christmas. I did not understand how Christmas is possible in such hot weather....

In the evening I was walking on the beach seeing new sky with new stars. That was the first time I saw Southern Cross.

I thought then that Australia would bring me a lot of surprises and new experiences.
